will start saying thanks for past help with my xbox.
I have installed my games to hd and am wondering if ther is a way i can boot up xbox just to bring up games menue? have 5 year old son and dont want him changing any settings or doing any damage. Is there a way or will i have to uninstall aplications from xbox.

You can edit the evox.ini file and put everything on the front then edit another path for you to exit THAT dashboard to a real one
BUt as far as what you are asking, it sounds like a damn fine idea, but I am unsure if it exists, due to the fact of not needing one..

not sure what the screen is when i boot up but have atached photo of it. have just downloaded AID3 so can use any dash but do like the unleashx dash:

This is just an idea. I've never tried it, but in theory it should work. With the unleashx dashboard couldn't you edit the config.xml so that the only menu it showed would be the games menu? oh...and leave the auto run dvd's "games and movie dvd's" enabled so if a disc is put in they'd play automatically.
If I was going to try that. I'd copy the original config file to my pc via ftp. That way I could restore it again to regain access to the other settings.
Like I said though, this is only guess work on my part. I have no idea if it would work or not. _________________ Xbox - 1.4 Halo SE

regarding the picture is this the boot screan for the chip or is it something i have installed without knowing what i was doing? if it is doot screan from chip is there a way to boot straight to dash?
