Okay, i am sorry to put up another error 13 post, but i couldn't find the answer looking through the backlog of posts.
Anyway, what happened: I formatted all of my drives to prepare to install the AID2.11 software - dashes/apps etc - but like a fool i told the Xbox to reboot after i had deleted everything! Must of been a moment of complete rejectness on my behalf!
Now, the damned Xbox won't read the AID disc, it just tries to boot up the Xbox dash, which is of course, missing, so i get error 13. The box will load Halo, but won't boot off of the AID DVD. Also, i do not have a backup copy. I know, i'm a muppet and deserve nothing more than to die with electrodes on my genitles, but if you guys have any clue as to what i can do i would love you all forever!
Thanks in advance.

Corran

Since you deleted all of the files, it won't help to load the game exploit. Simply because it gone. You will have to do a hotswap. Look up pirrup for the tutorial and files.

Just to say thanks for the help guys it is muchly appreciated. After a lot of messing and tinkering i have managed to get my Xbox to read the AID disc again, so hopefully now i can just follow the rest of the instructions and get my Xbox back to full working order.

Thankyou again

Well, i have got the xbox running with the new software and it works like a dream, doesn't crash like the old software and is quick to use...but...

the EvoX dash doesn't seem to want to read the F drive. XBMC reads it and so does AnOd-X so it is not a major problem, but if you have any ideas how i can get EvoX to recognise it, please tell because i use EvoX primarily.

The other thing is, what are the X/Y/Z drives for because they all have 700mb's on them and don't seem to be using it. If they aren't relevant drives can i repartition the Xbox to have less drives but more space per drive? And if i can change the partitions...how?

How random is that?

Thanks loads

Thanks for that, i activated the F drive and now it recognises it again. I am going to investigate the various dashboards and see which one i like best. Then i'll change it accordingly.

Thanks again
