ok i changed the bios and my screen stays black?what do i do?

ok i reflashed my bios on the second bank with x2.4983 what do i do next?

Ok, here's the deal, whenever I have used that program , I flashed all 4 blocks with the same bios. In your case, you should be able to flash bank 1 and 2 with the same bios. and then choose bank one to use it. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

ok i tried what you posted and im still having problems well some improvements too.Instead of the box turning on and off twice and then turning back on flashing red and green, it now turns on and off once and thats it.It turns on and off.Which is good because it doesnt turn back on and flash red and green.Now what?

not exactly, the chip is still connected to the xbox,and the programmer is connected to the chip.

alright on the xecuter program there are 4 slots which are 256k.heres your bios options evox m8 plus1.6 or x2_5035 new 1.6 or you can use both like i did.
one on each bank.if you use both, in slot 1 put evox m8plus 1.6 in slot 2 put evox m8plus 1.6 each one is 256k which makes 512k which is one bank.now in slot 3 put x2_5035 new1.6 whick is 512k which will fill slot 4 automaticaly.cause you have two banks 512k.
when flashing the chip make sure chip is on flash protection is off and its on bank 1. i would recommend using the usb to power the programer not the battery or ect...also if you have windows xp its probaly not going to work i allways get error messages. i use win98se on another partion on my pc's hdd to flash my 2.6ce.
hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!any more questions i will check back tomarrow.......these bios are for 1.6 xboxs only...after a good flash you should boot to msdash unless you have a modded dash installed.with the x2_5035 you should see x2 config live and then msdash.

It clearly looks like your chip is not connected good and is fragging out.

Ok i disconnected it from the box and reconnected it and now it turns on and off once and stays off after that.it stopped flashing red and green.

Sounds like a bad install. Did you do it yourself? Is it on a pinheader? Check your D0 wire.

i bought it online premodded,so everything was already soldered and taken care of.it wasnt flashed with anything i dont think.it works like a normal xbox.but when i turn the chip on it doesnt do anything.i checked the memory on the regular xbox box dash and it has xbmc save in the memory i dont know how to make it work though.the box didnt come with any instructions for the xbmc save.I looked at all the soldering but it looks ok to me unless i missed something?
