Posted: Fri Feb 03, 2006 2:14 am Post subject: Unusual game loading problem.
Here's my question.
Im using the game 25 to life. It backs up seemingly fine, however when i go to play it ...the game starts then it just doesnt load...it freezes.
My first thought was that it was a bad burn, so i reburned it then i copied it again with a different program...same thing happened.
Next i thought maby it was the copy so i rented it from blockbuster and tried it..same thing happened. So i tried it in a friends box i had modded and the same thing happened. Then i tried it in an older box someone else made and it worked fine. Any ideas? is this some sort of copy protection?
P.s. i did both my box's with aid 2.11 final and sid 3. also i dont know the version of the box that it worked in...but the ones it didnt work in was 1.6 and 1.1.

renting and burning the game is the samething as pirating you will get no help. And as for the reply from gus sorry bud you just tried to help pirate so I deleted your post. _________________

sounded to me like owned the original copy but when it didnt work he rented one....i could be wrong but thats what i got from it....

Unless oldballs916 states other wise thats its an original no one should post how to do it because from what i got its pirated i rather not take the chance in thinking he accually owns the copy. _________________

Thanks for the help guys, yes i do own a copy, i only rented it because i thought i had a bad copy of it.
as far as the cache I've tried that. Ill try the enigmah video switcher....im not really familiar with what that program does but im sure i can find some info. Hopefully this works. Thanks for all the responses.
