i have two games istalled in the e drive in a rom section.the roms are in z64 format.when i load up surreal it show two boxes that say no box image when i press a the settings thing come up and when i press a on either ultrahle or 1964 or even project64 a message comes out that says saving settings and after a minute or two it goes back to the main menu.how can i play the games is there something wrong please help i really want to play goldeney007 and super mario64.

wow... the e drive ??
i thought that was just for UDATA and TDATA ... i mean i know you can put other stuff in there but hmm...
you say there's boxes showing up so I can assume you set up the .ini correctly ... maybe the games are bad roms... or corrupted. try downloading them again... do you still have them in .zip format?
I have goldeneye on mine and it plays almost perfect (its a little choppy when you choose a file ) I'd hook you up with my roms but i deleted them from my comp...
also, which version of surreal do you have ? you might need to update. surreal xxx beta 4.9 is out.

I have the beta one.when i choose the game the screen says now loading then it turns black.and nothing happens.i thought it was loading but i let it black for like 20 minutes and nothing.please help

Well the same thing happened to me, but when i try to load a game it gives you three choices to load it up ... try all three and one will work.

the roms are probably fine you just have not put them in the right directory in your folder or that beta of surreal64 might not work properly on your xbox. try d/l and older version and see what that does. In your emulators folder you should make another folder called Roms and and inside put the zipped file, then unrar and put it in there too. SO it will be saved and still be able to load. That's all I can really think of. I hpe that works.

Hey every one. Im new here and i kinda need a little help.
I have changed the .ini file for surreal to find the roms. But nothing ever shows up on the loading screen. i have changed the dir. to where my roms are and it still doesn't find them. What format do the roms have to be in?
Please, i need help. I'm going to shoot the darn thing soon.

Where can I get older versions of surreal64? I Have beta4.95 and it plays goldeneye kinda good but freezes up after couple minutes of gameplay (Multiplayer) on UltraHLE. Others just give a poor display of goldeneye(Project64 and 1964). plz reply I want to get rid of my version it's crampin my style _________________ Life Is A Stupid Game With Great Graphics
