It claims it will work as a PVR which does not require a monthly fee such as Tivo but will record your fsavourite programs but does'nt mention how it goes about doing this. I doubt if it is as smart as I would like it to be, but it does mention some online service so maybe it will record a program/film if I ask it to keep a look out for all things related to Angelina Jolie, or god (TV Netwroks) willing Bipasha Basu ?
Anyway, what I would really like to know is that with this card installed on my PC will my modded XBox be able to accept the incoming TV signal ? The advantages of this is that I will be able to have the XBox as a one system unit...the TV channal wont have to be used, just have the XBox take in all the signals, and if this does work then with my Wireless network I can have a second modded XBox in the bedroom pick up the TV signal as well, allowing me to watch the likes of Riya Sen from the comfort of my bed ?
Is this a possibility ? I imagine Comcast and Aldelphia lose out on money not installing a second line in your home but it is great news for the consumer if this is the case.
Has anyone tried this approach ?

a tv tuner card has a coax connection like the back of a tv into which you hook your cable to. from what you explained it came with software to record certain shows. the shows will be saved onto your pc hdd, and using XBMC and a SMB network you will be able to watch your recorded shows on your modded Xbox, if you decide to get it, send me a PM, i kinda lost my tv card software....

Cheers Funky.
I may well get it this w/e.
Will it allow me to 'stream' TV as if it were a Comcast box ?
Once I get it i'll give you a shout.
Thanks again.
