Posted: Tue Jan 24, 2006 10:14 pm Post subject: XBMC Freezin When trying to FWD or RWD AVI files :(
OK so I have been working with playing some avi file both on the HD of the Xbox, through SMB network and even off CDR and everytime i try to fast forward with XBMC it just freezes solid and I have to power down and reboot the Xbox. Whats going on here? I need to figure out how to fix this problem so that i can fast forward through files. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah I know. Any form of seeking on the file freezes it solid. Works fine with MP3's but no AVI files. Wondering if I need to completely reload XBMC. Seems that at one point in the past it was working find then all of the sudden nothing

But if I hit the L or R buttons, or if I hit the Dpad it freezes. I have to go into that navigation menu and select skip forward like you would skipping a chapter on a dvd player. Is there any way to make it where the dpad works?
