ok well my original hard drive broke due to uncarefull handling so i bouhgt a 80gb hard drive. luckily befor it broke i backed up the whole hard drive to my pc via ftp when softmodding. so i bought a new 80gb hard drive and used xbox hdm to put all the files on it. then to realise theres nothing in the eprom folder so i cant get my hard drive key to lock the new drive. does anyone have any suggestions? thanks people

That bites!!! No eeprom huh?
You will have to get chipped then. Unless you know someone with a solderless modchip.
