OK, I thought I'd share this with you, plus to make my intentions clear for this upcoming project:

This installer will be the best seen with probably about 50 various xbox programs consisting of Applications, Dashboards, and Emulators.

What I have so far done is compiled the Xbox-Hq EvoX Auto-Installer v1.2.02 and the Xbox-Hq Emulator Installer v1.0 into one big installer. And hopefully if everything goes to plan it will all fit on a 700mb CD-RW!!

Here's a list of what's already included:

Applications
* BiosCheck 3.1
* boXplorer 0.96
* Complex Tools 1.60 (Public Release)
* Dvd2XboX 0.5.9 (with Rahszhul ACL files 2004-03-04)
* LinksBoks 0.92 (Dr Zoidberg Edition)
* MouseTestApp
* ProjectX HDDLoader 1.3a
* X2Config
* Xbox FTP client 0.62
* Xbox Media Center 2004-08-07
* XBWatch 0.03
* XCommanderR2
* YAMP

Emulators
* AdamxX v2 (ColecoVision/Adam)
* ArnoldX v2 (Amstrad CPC)
* AtariXLBox v5 (Atari 800/5200/130/320/XL/XE)
* BlissX v5 (Intellivision)
* FCEUltraX v16 (Nintendo)
* KEGS-X v3 (Apple IIgs/e/c/+)
* MAMEoX v0.84 b2 (Arcade)
* NeoGenesis v16 (Sega Genesis)
* NeoPopX v4 (NeoGeo Pocket Color)
* Pcsxbox v11 (Sony PSOne)
* SC3X v0.04 (SEGA SC 3000)
* ScummVMx v0.6.0 (SCUMM)
* SpeXtrum v0.3 Beta (ZX Spectrum)
* Stella v2 (Atari 2600)
* Surreal64 v1 (Nintendo 64)
* Vice64x v4 (Commodore 64)
* WinSTonX v6 (Atari ST)
* WinUAEX v7 (Commodore Amiga)
* XBoyAdvance v17 (Gameboy Advance)
* xSnes9x v1.42 (Super Nintendo)

Dashboards
* EvolutionX (maybe both 3921 and 3935, but definately 3935)
* MediaXMenu
* AvaLaunch
* tHc Dash
* UnleasX
* XBMC

Ofcourse this will change come time for the final release, but this is a rough sketch of what to expect. Newer versions will more than likely come out between now and the relaese, so they ofcourse will be updated. As far as the dashboards go, I probably won't add any more unless there is a strong demand for it. I see these as the main dashboards that would be used by the majority of the Xbox Scene.

Flexibility will depend on the new MediaXMenu (basically the only thing I'm waiting for), but I'm hoping to make this installer as flexible or even more than the previous installers.

Flashing of BIOS, formatting, installing various Dashobards (to either C or F, dunno about G does anyone even use this for Dash's??), and installing various Apps and Emulators to various locations.

Sounds like a task? It might be... Let's see how we go...

Wish me luck Very Happy

Just thought of something:

Friendtech MCE (the new Linux Media Center for Xbox that has come out) uses F Drive as native Linux. If we could somehow manage to format F as a 20 giger, then have G drive as the rest (up to 120 or whatever) ppl with selectable bios boot (atleast 3 for MS, Evox, and Friendtech as an example) could use friendtech and a normal fatx system..

Xboxhacker and myself were talking about something similar like this a few days ago from memory.

This is a REAL test for all you out there, can it be done???
