I've used Aid 2.11 several times on my xbox. I've burned it to a memorex cd-rw and it works fine on the samsung drives but not as well on the thompson and phillips drive. I heard that if you add a dummy file then it would read better. However, the dummy files only come in 100mb, 500mb, and 1gb and so my cd-rw doesn't have enough room to contain these files. I don't have a dvd burner by the way. I was wondering if there was a way to delete unneccessary files (apps, dashboards) so that I can have enough room to add a dummy file. A nice alternative is if anyone can possibly send me a copy or if you know someone who can send me a copy would be nice (dvd-r).

I could be wrong, but can't you just add a couple of mp3 to the front of the aid for that purpose?

I'm not really sure if such a thing is possible, but what I would try to do is locate some different media (brands of cd-rw, cd-r) Here is a basic chart that will help you, http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/postt12742.html Stripping it down might be possible, but like I said, I'm not too sure. I would just highly recommend trying some different media. _________________ XBOX v1.6c

a 700 MB CD-R/W should fit AID on there, 650 MB it wont fit on. _________________

hey, stripping down AID is possible. infact, i did it my self to built the Auto Installer i use to mod xboxes i get ahold of. for example, non of my customers want/need half the apps. all you have to do is have a pretty good knowledge of how to edit .ini and .xml files as well has knowing how to use Qwix/Cxbox Tool.
also, i can ship you an AID dvd burnt on a memorex dvd-r (which ive tested and seen work on tommys, phils, sammys, and lg drives). i would just charge what it cost me, (envelope and shipping VIA UPS.
also, i dont think he does it anymore, but DJB gave some members a dvd of aid and a pc dvd with extra goodies on it if you donated 10 dollars to him. not sure how many he made, but i got edition number 2. they had a nice printed top on them. _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case
