I read this in the xbox site and found it very interesting. You can actually update your 360 for backwards compatability with a CD/DVD and the 360 reads the file automatically. You need to download a file called "default.xex" to do this.
Dare I say that there is more that can be done this way. No, but this is defenitely a start. Just the fact that this can be done opens a whole new window of opportunity. Check it out :
yeah, its cool when you want to play older games but dont have high speed internet or something (god forbid ) and you cant dl it using xb live. ive already done the december update on my xbox 360 using memorex cd-r's. i think it would be nice to be able to compile a list of usable media for the xbox 360 for when the time comes and we can play our legally backed up games. _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case
