Hello, just installed smartxx v2 chip, removed the original HD, and replaced it with a unformatted seagate 250gig drive. When I boot the XBOX, I get the xbox logo for about 5 seconds and error code 13 and sometimes 16. The eject button flashes red and green when I start the xbox and I press the eject button to get to the smartxx os, but it doesn't boot to the chip. When I put back the originial HD, its back to retail version. I have read that I should boot with an auto-installer DVD but I heard its not a good idea. Can somebody recommend a sequence of steps on what should I do next?

after you install the chip you need to flash it with bios , if the chip doesnt work read the install manuals and reinstall it, you can find install manuals at smartxx.com
use x2 bioses or Evox M8 , then you can run the AID 2.11 ,format the new harddrive and install whatever you need on it _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a
