just installed an xecuter2 all went well flashed with x2 bios 5035 no probs there the xbox shut down.now when you turn the xbox back on all i'm getting is xecuter2 config live loading then a black screen no audio no video.tried running slayers but nothing boots.
anybody have any ideas

Did you for sure get the right version BIOS for your box? Need to have a v1.6 if you have that box. Also, the right LBA48 version. If you are sure you have all that correct, I'd then try reflashing it (you can boot to bank 2 and get the cromwell flash bios screen again). I'm assuming you have your HDD setup correctly (and it is plugged in correctly and stuff) and you have it all preped with a valid partition and dashboard?

the xbox i have is a 1.3 or 1.4 made 2003-03-15 when i bought the chip it came with a piece of paper saying that this is the bios needed.tried to boot to bank 2 but getting the same thing.do you think it will need to come out & be reprogramed with a programmer.thanks for your reply.

Are you using a hidef video cable? This is a long shot, but I figured I'd ask.

no just the normal cable with the red white & yellow plug.is it possible i have flashed it with the wrong bios for the model of xbox i have got.

Yes, possible. What was the exact file you flashed? Also, does the xbox work ok with the chip disabled? Are you running the original HDD with no files modified or are you trying to upgrade the drive too? _________________ Xecutor 3 CE

i get the same black screen when the chip is turned off.
yes it is the original hdd
the hard drive thats in it has slayers dashboard on it.
what i forgot to mention is this is a replacment chip the other one was an old xecuter which died.thats when the audio & video went as well.
the file i used was x2_5035_vOld_512k.bin but was not a 512k file it was 1024k file.
