Hey all,
I know this is a newbie question most likely but my friend has told me that he can softmod my box without a gamesave. Now I don't know if this is possible... I haven't seen his box running or anything like that, but I do trust him.
I only seem to be able to find the gamesave exploits but then again I don't really know what I am looking for
If it is possible I would like as much help as I can get on this subject. i.e. What I need to do it, Whether or not it is difficult to do, etc. etc.
I've looked far and wide and I can't seem to find it

yeah you dont need to use game exploits if you put a chip on the xbox ,
also he could just mod it by hotswapping the harddrive and putting a already softmodded dashboard on harddrive ?

OK, firstly, I attempted a hotswap... but I am scared I have screwed up BIG! I only get error 06 whenever I start the box! From what I have read, this means the xbox cannot unlock the hd, correct? Also my PC won't see it either. Have I ballsed it? Or is it fixable?
