as far as I know, Live goes both ways. You have an account on the old, you can upgrade yours to the new. You get xbox silver out of the box, and for 50 bucks a year, you can go Gold which allows you to play online. Gold is the same price as the fully functional oldskool Live, so I'd assume yes. You can take an Xbox 1 live account and bring it to the 360. You can't do the reverse, onr is there free xbox live for those who have the original. The silver membership is a PACKAGE thrown in with the 360 to allow the marketplace to work and make money.
As far as I know, once you take an xlive account from xbox to 360, it can't go back. _________________ XBOX v1.6
