Ok, as you know I had a hard time flashing my spider chip 1.1 on my xbox 1.0. I finally got it flashed and I used evox m8+. And this is supposed to work for 1.0's right? And I didn't use the 1.6 version. Im sure I used the right one. After I flashed it, it won't do anything. I get the christmas lights and error code 16 with the chip on and 06 with it off. And the little evox apprears in the corner.
What are my possible options, if any? Is there any way I could put this in another xbox and double flash it? or reflash it . Thanks

After thinking for five minutes....
What if I toke my hard drive swapped it into a working modded box and put AID(with a good bios) on the HDD and dropped it back into my box? Same results?

Ol' Spiderchip moved his support to his own forums a while ago but I'll try to give you guidance based on most mod chips.
Before you tear out that chip or remove any hdd's, since you are using the evox m8+, I'd like to recommend flashing in the Xecuter2 4983 Bios. I have a 1.0 and you can see the two I chose in my sig.

you cant take out the hdd and put it in another box. you know why? becasue to get access to the hdd to wipe it you have to unlock it and then you have to relock it for it to work in a non chipped box. And to lock it you have to lock it IN THE XBOX it is going to or have the eeprom and lock it using a computer. But anyway I use a spiderchip constantly! Do you have the aid disc in and its still giving you the error. And if you dont see the evoX in the top left corner. THen it is not flashed correctly. _________________ Blue Chaos

The Evox M8+ is technically the 1.6 version, the + is the inclusion of the RAM timing table changes. As Shark2th suggested just reflash with 4983
