Is there a specific setting to allow FlashFXP to transfer files between 2 xboxes?
I have networked my computer and 2 xboxes. From the computer I can connect to either xbox and can save files to both xboxes. When I try to transfer a file from one xbox to the other it fails ...?
Any ideas?

First of all the xboxes must have different ip addresses. I've never tried Xbox to Xbox ftp before, so I'm not sure how the program handles that. Interesting concept. Lets see if we can make it work. Both would have to have the user name xbox and password xbox pre-activated to allow the ftp to take place.
What are you ip settings? _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

All of that stuff is set up correctly because I can FTP over to each from the PC. I found the answer, it is called FXP (hence FlashFXP). You have to have a FXP client and according to another xbox site "You MUST have Avalaunch .048 or later. EvoX will NOT work because it does not allow passive mode (PASV)."
I was using UnleasedX and Evox.
This method of transfer is supposed to be superfast since it really about the link speed between the 2 xboxes. Technicially, you could do this to 2 xboxes around the world thru your routers port forwarding.
That's where I'm at right now and if you are interested I will post my results.

Good searching Tex! I had no idea but then again I've never tried. If you have more to share, please do so and then we'll have it to refer back to if anyone else decides they wish to do the same thing. _________________ http://twitter.com/HQ_Shark2th

You can do this with both UnleashX and Avalaunch they both support "boost" transfers. You can also do it with Evox but only small batches of files at a time, anf larger files one at a time. The easiest way is to just use a crossover cable between 2 xboxes with Unleash or Ava on them and do it through the files explorer, it's much faster and doesn't rely on your PC as a bridge.

Yes thats true.. You can use UnleashX and AVALAUNCH to connect 2 x xboxes directly together without a pc and do it that way but i find it too much effort.
Why not just have a hub or switch and connect both xboxes onto any network then ftp into them both.. I do this at home all the time with my xboxes.. I run XBMC Dashboard as default though.. It supports it and im pretty dam sure most other dashboards do now as well.
