Hi all, I have an AMD Duo X2 GS modchip with 2 banks of 512kb each I was able to flash X2 5035 it being 512kb but I would like to try other Bios's that are 256kb, I am using Heimdalls Hexen disk from 2019 and I think I read somewhere that if im using the Hexen disk it will automatically do its magic putting a 256kb onto a 512kb flash bank, is this correct? If it uses Evoxdash to flash the BIOS, it will automatically double a 256KB BIOS to fit the 512KB of your bank. GentooX used for a Winbond flash chip does not resize the BIOS's dot bin file.
You can also create a 512KB dot bin file at a DOS prompt (CMD.EXE window):
Note: Do not forget the /b option else you'll have a mess on your hands flashing a BAD BIOS. The most significant bit (MSB) of every byte will be dropped (an ASCII copy will be made instead of a BINARY copy.)
or with Team Xecuter's Xecuter 2 BIOS Manager (X2BM) WIndows application.

If you use the non-Winbond menu option, YES!
