did you use the latest version of DVD2XBOX to copy from the original DVDROM to your XBOX HDD?? If you didnt i would suggest you use it as it will remove most protection..
Then you can ftp all the files to your pc and remove and files you think.
Then ISO.. Whatever ou want.
It shouldnt be that hard.. It just depends if DVD2XBOX has the protection removed.

so it burns fine but just doesnt boot.
Try another xiso creator like cxboxtool (http://cxboxtool.xbox-hq.com)
That may work..
I do know of some probs with qwix but nothing off the top of my head.
Trial cxboxtool or another xiso creator im sure it will work.
You can strip out most language files too as im sure you know!
Again, im having no trouble creatin ISo, but i might of worked it out, but not sure......before i FTP the files from the xbox' D:, i normally create a folder of that games name, the save all the files from D: into that.......then i create the ISO using that folder, is that right seeing as its a name i made up....?
Am i supposed to burn the ISO from the xbox' D: .....?
Cheers.

It shouldnt really matter but it sounds like a bug to me there somewhere.
This is how i used to do it and it worked 100% for me..
1. Start DVD2XBOX on your xbox (dvd backup program)
2. Insert your original game disc or backup dvd-r
3. Now when it recognises the game click A to start copy.. It will ask where you want to copy to. E:\games etc etc.. just choose what you like
4. Once its finished then try and create a new .ISO from the place where you saved it using DVD2XBOX in step 3.
5. It should work just fine.
If you cant get it working making iso directly from the xbox hdd then just ftp all files over to a directory on your pc.
Hi,
All that I do is load the game on through( the latest to my knowledge version of) dvd2xbox, I mean copy it completely to my xbox and then transfer all the files to my pc I then have the file folder the same as what it already was.
anyway I then I use qwix to create the iso, then I burn the iso image through Nero to a dvd ( at x1 or x2 speed because otherwise data can be corrupted).
hope this helps!

IMHO, C-XboxTool works the best for iso creation, then I burn the disks with DVD Decrypter. Works every time! _________________

if you have used the latest dvd2xbox then more then likely you will require a additional patch or maybe a replacement .xbe file.
Try CloneXB 2.3(usual places) thats what i have used just tonight and it has worked like a champ for me. Just make sure to get the GnuGfdimage program and put that in the CloneXB 2.3 directory, i had to rename it as gfdimage, and then it worked perfectly. Clone XB 2.3 will rip the game, and make the iso for you, and then it will also burn it for u. Hope this helps you.
