As in topic, what is the best dual layer media to use. I use Imation for single layer backups, but have run into the problem of dual layers. I have a thompson drive so i think it will read DVD+RDL. I have seen Ritaka(not sure if thats the actual name) on newegg for like 40 bucks for a 25 pack. Will those work, or do i need to go with something else?

I would be curious to know the same thing, because I also use imitation DVD-Rs, they read fine in my Samsung, but imitation DVD-R DL will not read.
So I too would like to know (if its even possible?)

all dual layers are DVD+R, but i've never used them, so i can't tell you what i don't know. But since Memorex CD-RW, DVD-R works best on all xbox versions, i suggest you get some Memorex DVD+RDL, and see what's up. _________________ Xbox v1.1

Yeah, i thought about it, but maybe only 1 or 2, because they're about 8 or 9 dollars a pop, so we'll see _________________
