It sounds like your pc sees the memory card as regular usb drive. You might have to change the driver. This link walks you through it.

If you are going to put the exploit on a memory card you do. I would start from scratch remove the AR software remove the dongle. Rebbot your system reinstall AR plug in the dongle start AR and then plug in the memory card. It worked once it should work again. I just dragged the file from window I open it in, where ever you opened up AID.

Hence the reason I made my suggestions on page one post four regarding modding. You'd have a chip by now.(shrug)

I'd be saying to your parents that you can still hack the xbox, it's just gonna be a lot more trouble than a modchip. Personally (even though I did create the SID software) I would always recommend a modchip over a softmod any day, for two reasons:
1) you can easily set up another hdd for a softmodded box (in other words, doing large hdd upgrades for softmod boxes)
and
2) nothing can f#&@ a modchip and it's bios. unlike a softmod it can't be changed like the contents of a hdd can...

guys would this work? my freind has an old controller which he isnt using so if i take that controller and an old mouse which i am not using and then i take my mouse which i dont use anymore and make a usb stick out of them then i insert the mouse end in my mouse to usb converter and the other in my xbox would that work as an usb stick? _________________ add my msn darkspanishmaster@hotmail.com

the controller bit would but I dont know if the USB bit would, mainly for the fact you have two ends of a usb, male + femaile (if this is the terms used). The end at the mouse would be a one type, and the type that you would need would be the other. So you'd only be half-way there.
