In the torrents of my day to day life, darn the luck I've lost my instruction booklet for this game.
That having been said, most of the game is obvious and plays really really well, BUT wtf do I do when it indicates a fight. I have yet to be able to respond to a fight but I think I got close once cause I got a finger in my face by a defender. No fists or sticks though. Looked online but don't see anything written about it, so I presume it's a no brainer and I have no brain. Dig the game though. It's the first hockey game I've ever had and I'm diggin on it completly. The only real flaw I've seen is during icing when they start talking about the tremendous save a goalie made to stop the puck. It's f*cking icing ya morons!!! No puck to stop. Whatever, still dig it. Especially when one announcer says "that was as smooth as a gravy sandwich". I died laughing, then I started thinking about how one might actually build said gravy sandwich. Anyway, can anyone assist me in reaching my goal of fighting? (pun intended completely)...

Honestly, if someone can just tell me about the fighting part.. that's what I'm trying to find out.

Sorry man, But I will have it for you by this afternoon. But to fight you have to hit the back button to start it. From there you use 1 of the joystick to block. ie: joystice up block up joystick down block down. And the you use the Y button for hi hit and B button for low hit. Or is it X for hi hit and A for low hit. Not sure but try it out.
If you still want the book the let me know with in the next 1 hour or so if I don't hear from you I will just get it for you anyway.

Sh*t man.... was up against ol' Pronger last night and could not initiate or participate in a fight for my life. I have no clue what I am doing wrong... kicked their asses at the goal though.
A few nice cross checks and body blocks too.
Love this game!

Really jpen2004, it's cool. I just was dying to kick Prongers butt but couldn't get it to let me in on the fight. Like I said, I took it out on the goalie instead! hehehe

• Directional pad offensive or defensive quick play strategies
• left thumb stick move player or deke
• A-button draw puck, face off, low punch, pass or switch player
• B-button high punch, shoot or one timer
• X-button low block, wrist shot or poke check
• Y-button high block, auto deke or body check
• left trigger line change menu, select line or cancel shot
• right trigger speed burst
• start-button pause
• back-button activate fight
• right thumb stick skill stick or bruise control
• white-button open ice control, dive or block
• black-button open ice support, hook or tie up
• left trigger and A-button drop pass or manual goalie
• left trigger and Y-button spin deke
• left trigger and back-button pull or replace goalie
• left trigger and X-button block pass
