It wouldn't be a bad investment. Always better to be safe than sorry. With all that you have invested, and will continue to invest, it must makes sense. It's like life insurance. You hope you never need it, but you gotta have it!
I know we have some other 200GIG'rs here, let's hear what they have to say.
later man. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

a couple of guys have 200gb here and others have 250gb.
You should be fine mate as long as the drive is a 7200rpm or 5400rpm..
Dont let it bother you.. Ive been running my 160gb 7200rpm drive for over a month and not a problem... My old 80gb Drive was 7200rpm too..

I heard that even if your HD is 7200rpm that the xbox will only allow it to move at 5400rpm. Bunk? Can anyone back this up? _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

the spindle speed of the hdd has nothing to do with the system it's in. that is the speed at which the motor spins the platers, if it's 7200rpm it's spinning at 7200rpm, now the xbox may limit the throughput from the hdd but I don't think so cause you can see a big diffrence when you switch from a 5400rpm drive like the orignal xbox hdd to a 7200rpm drive.
