Hi im very new and i need serious help. I have a chipped xbox with the slayers evox m8 v16 chip in it i have 2 games loaded on hard drive i turned on xbox a couple of days ago and instead of seeing my usual dashboard i got my original xbox dash instead. Original games play fine. copied games will not play obviously. I have tried to back up. reboot. power off and tried deleting games i have saved. Controls fine no freezing at all. just can't get to my chipped dash (if that makes sense) can anyone help?

Did you accidently flip the little switch that allows you to boot to your non-modded BIOS or something (sure sounds like it). Either that, or something broke loose in your solder MOD (not sure if the D0 solder point will cause that or not). Even more likely, you probably have a solderless spider chip or something, and one of the spider connection leads popped off...

you are either starting xbox chip disabled
or chips faulty or a wire has come of
if you have m8_16 should have evo8 top left corner when starting
