Here are my problems with my XBMC: Audio,Dvd disc lock up, Some of my scripts dont connect, When i go under network status it says xbox not connected to the internet, ( but i get those words scrolling across my screen though,meaning im connected, and weather works fine ), iFilm,Launch does not work. Those are my problems. Can someone help me solve em. _________________

which verson of media center are you using??
And how did you install it. With AIDeluxe??
I have 2 x xboxes running XBMC as the default dashboard.. And both work perfect. I have static ip setup, subnet and dns..
Sounds to me like you have a bad build of XBMC or network configuration..
If you have news scrolling accrosss the bottom of your skin for xbmc then you have internet access already.. Also if you have weather then the xbox is connected to the internet too.
Maybe try disabling some firewalls on your router or pc sharing the internet to see if it helps.. Then you can work on port forwarding if its needed later.

i have 2005-12-8 build of XBMC. i used AID 2 Final to install. I use hub to share connection and network is set to automatic on xbmc. _________________

If the python scripts are not working you may need to download them again.. I have noticed myself between versions of XBMC that python scripts are not always working.. _________________ HQ Network:

I initially installed the XBMC from AID2.11Final, and had the same problems... Audio CD's would not play and XBMC would lock up frequently in many different modes.
I installed the 21/09/2005 CVS build and this works perfectly for me... I think maybe there is a problem in the build included on AID2.11Final ISO.

From what I've been reading I'd have to agree with you. Something else about the XBMC build with AID 2.11, I 've noticed that there some codecs missing that I've found in later versions (relesaed by other ppl compiling the CVS ofcourse). I have included all these codecs for the XBMC build that will be in AID 3, the XBMC version is still unsure as I'll compile it later, but at this moment the latest XBMC in there is 2005-09-22, and it seems to work fine for me. Ofcourse I haven't gone to the extent of playing Audio CDs etc in it, but it does sounds like if you upgrade XBMC you shouldn't have any problems.

If you mean an update for AID with XBMC, it doesn't have one. You would have to manually install it.

BTW were the hell did you get all of those scripts? theres loads there i`ve never seen of or heard of before. Good show

What I've been doing is checking out the other builds that other ppl have been releasing (plus went to allxboxskins) and I boosted it up with everything I could find.
If someone could actually test the scripts for me and tell me if any don't work that would be great, because all the scripts you see will be included the in XBMC build for AID 3.
