you have a camera? So I can see what damage there is. And when it comes to replacing a broken pin on harddrives you have to be extremly careful.

Well you have you have 2 options to choose from Chip the xbox and get a new harddrive, or make an eeprom reader and get the eeprom off the xbox and get a new harddrive and make a new xbox harddrive. That harddrive looks pooched, theres no way your gonna get the pins back in with out messing up the others from desoldering, and it looks like some deep cuts on the circuit board.

if that is a stock hard drive (one that came with an xbox) you may try getting the same brand hard drive and just swapping the 'daughterboard' so to say. there are four torx (i believe its 6 or Cool that you would remove and just transplant board..

theoretically, it should work, but who's to say?

good luck with that one though..

The thing about transplanting the circuit board is that it has to exactly the same as the other, same firmware model and year it was manufactured etc...

exactly.. but thats why i said stock.. most are the same, so its worth a shot

if its upgraded.. i wouldnt even bother.. its hard enough as it is, but when your dealing with hard drives that didnt come stock and are readily available, its going to HARD AS HELL to match those numbers up and get one that gets you back on track..
