well i managed to unlock my hd the other day (not good) so now i need a chip to get it working in the x box again i have seen the xecuter 2.6 and the version 3
just wondering which to get im looking for the cheapest and one that just gets me up and running again i understand the 3.0 needs a lpc rebuild and am very wary about soldering anything will the 2.6 and the xapter work ok im not bothered about all the flashy 3.0 addons
as long as i can run my x box and run evox then il be happy

well x2.6 isnt as new, but it is more a pain to install than the X3. I would go with an X3, just to save you hassle. May be more, but it is worht a clean install and more banks to burn to. _________________ Moddingbandit

thanks for the info decided to go with the 2.6 as im really skint at the moment
its in the uk and they seem very helpfull emailed em 3 times and replies were within 15 minutes each time
he also said if i send the aid 3 disc he will flash the bios and set the dash up free he will install it for me for a resonable 25 quid and next day return post too!
will let you all know how it goes and hopefully il be fixed and good to go again!

You'll be happy with your chip, the X2.6 is a decent chip. Down the road though you may want to spring for the X3. So much nicer. So many more options and neat things you can do on the fly.

got my x box back propper profesional install v happy id highly recomend them if ure in the uk
