I have done this several times with no problems until now. I load up xbhdm with the new HDD and turn it on and my pc says disc boot error, please insert disc and press enter. no matter what the jumper setting is on or if the boot order has HDD turned on or off, it wont recognize. now, when i put MY xbhdm cd in, it loads up just fine. i have take the files of MY cd, replaced only the eeprom file and it still wont work. can anyone please help me. my AIM name is randyrhoads bls. there is a space between the name and bls to clarify. thanks for any help that yall might be able to give me.

Is this a brand new hard drive? What brand is it? You may want to recreate a new XboxHDM disk just to make sure it wasn't a bad burn. I think you can also wait until after xboxhdm load in order to plug in the hard drive if the BIOS isn't picking it up, it should though. Can't think of a reason your bios wouldn't pick it up. If you have the option just put it on cable select, or maybe single drive. _________________
