I've been trying to back up my games using nero 7 ultra but with no luck. I got the xiso's right but i can't burn them. Every disk i've burned so far shows up as an unknown on my evox screen. Is there a tut anywhere on how to do this using nero or can someone help me through this. I've also tried using dvd decryptor to burn the games too but with the same outcome. My best guess is that i'm not setting it up right.

I would suggest using DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120%. They are more suited for burning xbox media. Decrypt can be found in AID 3.0

I use CXboxTool2 to create my game iso files, and then a program called CloneDVD2 to burn to DVD-R disks.

I have found that Memorex and Maxells give me fits at times. I have had great luck with Imation, SONY, and Verbatim disks. I even have good luck with cheap'o disks like SpinX that I get 100 packs for about 14.95.

Also, I try to burn at speeds no greater than 4x. A lot of my 8x disks didn't work out too good, but at 4x I have close to 100% success rate.

-edit-
I'm also using xiso to make my iso files. Could this be a problem.

I have a sammy too, and have had bad luck with +r disks, especially Memorex!

Good luck with the SONY though.

I like using quix (sp?). I have a Phillip's DVD Drive and I use Imation DVD+r and I have burned 3 backups + AID 3.3 at 4x speed with a 100% success rate. All you have to do with Quix is set up your FTP connection and select the game folder you want to make into an iso. I
