Ok i got this xbox that isnt mine and this guy wants me to fix it. the power supply went tits up and i checked to see what version of xbox it was and it says 1.6 on xbox scenes little program that tells what the version is. i went to google images and alot of other places to look for an xbox v1.6 power supply but none of them look like this one. heres a few pics so mabee some one can help me out. two close ups and a top and bottom view.
also, is there any other version of power supply that would work in this ones place? the all put out the same voltage and amperage dont they?

oh there are different brands of power supplies, as long as it's a 1.6 it will work.

You have a 1.6 supply. To check the supply, Just short the white wire to the purple/blue. then test for 12/5 volt output on the yellow/red/orange wires. _________________ XENIUM ICE 300GIG CUSTOM DVD
