can you get it to come up with the MS Bios?
(push the power button for 1 sec.)
If that woesn't work, lift the chip off then power the Xbox.
Let us know what happens. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

It doesnt make any since, Im good at soldering this was a simple task,
Im starting to think that the Xecuter was a dudd, It's like my Bios has been wiped out,
Getting out of subject, will one HD and DVD drive from one xbox to another swap out ?. I got a good deal on another XBOX today, 50 bucks
it looks like new, So if anything Im thinking about just doing a soft mod
from my understanding its easier.

Dvd's will Swap, Hdd's are locked to the Mobo.
The reason I ask about the MS Bios is that there may be a VERY small solder splash, or your box may have (spontaniously) gone comatose.
Press and hold the power button, or just lift the chip and power it. (It's just a first stage of troubleshooting.) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

Cant see anysplash, Removed the entire chip, including pins , still no Screen, What gets me solderingh the xbox is easier than a PS2 ,
Thinking about chunking it except for the DVD drive and HD, And start with another chip in this other unit. Thinking on it. Ill put it under my magnifier glass And look around closer for some splash.

I'll bet that if you post it, you can sell it AS-IS instead of chucking it! (With or without the DVD and HDD!)
BTW, do you know what version that box is?
Can you post a pic of everything that you soldered?
It sounds like you may have grounded the D0 and didn't have a wire conneted. _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!

Don't you even want to try and fix it???
If not I need to know:
What Version is the Mobo? If you don't know follow this Tut:
What all Does it come with? Case? (What condition?) DVD? HDD? Cables? Power supply?
Has it EVER been connected to Xbox LIVE? (If you don't know, PLEASE say so.)
Can you post any pics?
Even if you DO want to try to fix it, I still want to know what Ver. it is.
Thanks!

Cool, are you gonna sell the chip and just softmod?
I'll put the Exploit of your choice on your memory card for free, if you pay the shipping.
I've found that FedEx Ground has been inexpensive and reliable for larger pkgs, but USPS is cheaper for smaller ones.(no tracking though) _________________ I think I like fixing Boxes more than using them!
