Ok, I have been trying to help people softmod lately and many times their xboxes back up the msdash and Eeprom fine, but when they try to install the dashbaod and mod they get Batch rename error. I am wondering what causes this. It happens alot, and I am stumped as to why. The game save is good I believe. It is the one from AID 3, so it should work fine. Any help for this would be great.

try backing the eeprom the nput it in the E\ directory

He did put it in the E directory. I made sure of that. And we backed up the msdash as well.

hmm i dunno then i have only had that batch error when the eeprom is not backed up
