Hi all,
i was trying to upgrade my soft modded xbox with my chipped xbox to install a 160 gig drive
well i thought i was following to tute correctly using config magic on my chipped xbox to transfer the eeprom until i rebooted it, now there is no video or sound, i have a green not red light around the eject button.
i have a full backup of c and e and seperate eeprom backup stored in my pc, is it dead or is there hope for it?
while i was digging a hole for it in my back yard i decided to try and continue to upgrade my softmodded xbox with the hard drive manager with pc, and it worked so now i have a softmodded 160gig xbox working, i was stoked until i thought of my chipped xbox
i can accept the fact that i killed it, but i wouldnt mind being able to ressusitate it, can any one help. cheers _________________ 1.6 limited edition- duox2- 200 gig- blue cold cathode neons

so i guess its dead, atleast its got some usefull conponents on it, ill use what ever i can from it, dvd drive, fan, power supply, caps, resistors etc

It's so hard to deal with something you don't have at hand.
but chrismas lights could be TSOP related or EEPROM, a chip could fix it if it's TSOP related, and sometimes could fix the eeprom if it's like a SmartXX v2 that allows you to flash new eeprom from OS. _________________ Xbox v1.1

Had a chip in it, i wish it was that simple theres no video on the screen so i can't flash anything, the eject light just stay's green it's not flashing red or green? it's been put on the back shelf for now. _________________ 1.6 limited edition- duox2- 200 gig- blue cold cathode neons

So your saying your modchipped xbox is dead?? No video??
How old is the unit?? If its fairly old i could understand i maybe being the video chip or something giving out but it would give a error code or light.
