Posted: Sun May 14, 2006 1:14 am Post subject: ftp'd Xbox to PC, but emulators & Xbox games...
Hi - I'm totally new to this, I've managed to connect Xbox to PC (Dell Dimension XPS/Windows XP), via flashFXP and router.
I have the various folders, C-H & X-Z avaliable through flashFXP.
I have no idea where (which folder) to transfer neogenesis_v21.zip, so I transferred it to all possible folders.
Now on EvoX there are no emulators avaialble.
I'm sure I'm making some layman mistake, but I'm stuck.
What do I need to do?
Once it's installed on PC how do I get it to Xbox?
Where do I get the games on PC then to Xbox?
Would the directions for other emulators (NES, SNES, PS, N64) be the same?
I've done so much work with things I know next to nothing about, I'm quite frusterated as I have nothing to show for it.
Also, what about user updates for Xbox games I have on disc? i.e. I have MVP 2005, but how do I add updated uniforms and stadiums, etc... to Xbox?
Do emulators include games (I'm aware Xbox emulators would be illegal/pirated) I assume Genesis emulators are old enough that Copyrights aren't an issue.
Am I as close as I think to getting to this to work? Pelase let me know, detailed layman instructions are much preferred. Either post or e-mail me at :jack.pesin@gmail.com

extract the zip file and create a folder on your xbox in e drive(or f drive if your hdd is upgraded) and name it apps.Create a folder inside the apps folder called genesis.then ftp the extracted genesis files into the apps folder.restart your xbox then play.

I have the emulator on the EvoX dash, but no games. Did I just extract the emulator with no games? Where do I get games and how do I install them?
Also, how do I transfer (the game file) an Xbox game I own the disc to? In this case MVP 2005 and then, how do I add (transfer) user altered files (in this case uniforms) to the Xbox? I presume I can then play MVP 2005 with the altered uniforms. But I'm lost. Please send me a step by step guide or if that's too much of a pain in the ass (which I understand) can you direct me to a post or another poster who can help?
