I know that you have said this before, and there is still another post floating around out there saying pretty much exactly what I am going to say, but mine is in the "hot deals" section, so its better. heh

I recently recieved my Xbox back from RealMccloy. I met him online and hardly know him at all. We sent a scarce amount of e-mails back and forth and I was like "what the hell, I'll send my xbox to a stranger." I was quite the skeptic about sending to someone I didn't know at all, as I am sure many others are, but he did much to alleviate my concerns before I mailed it to him.

My xbox was pretty much useless... I couldn't afford to rent many games, and I only had two to begin with, so I didn't use it much. Now, after it was returned to me by realmccloy, who did my mod, it is loaded up with movies, games, mp3's, and the ability to add more. I know that being able to add all those things is pretty standard, but you can't find another person who will load it up for you. It is unbelievable the amount of content I have on her, I'll be busy for years.

As I mentioned before, I don't have much money, and I Had to save up to get the mod. I was planning on paying a large sum of money (around $500) because thats how much my friend paid to have his done, and he didn't even have any games on his. RealMccloy does not charge extra for parts, and charges a very very reasonable rate for installation. It could possibly be the best investment that I have ever made, besides getting a new rear view mirror on my car.

I see tons and tons of posts for people out there who have screwed up their xbox by trying to mod it yourself. I mean, I'm not saying don't try it, but if you aren't 100% sure what you're doing, send it to realmccloy, because he gives you recovery disks, that you can't get from anyone else, so if you do screw it up after you get it back from him, you have a way to fix it already burned and ready to go. Also, if you doubt his skill, notice that on almost every post where someone is having a problem he replies, and they get it fixed. Or Forahobby replies, and as far as I can tell he's pretty cool.

The price is right, the product is great, and hey, he's pretty cool too. And although most people that will read this already know realmccloy and know I am speaking the truth, Anyone who is reading this who is in the process of considering should definately do it. You won't find a better deal anywhere.

I know I've ranted for quite a while, but I am so excited and pleased with what I got for my money that I can't say enough. I'll stop now though. Thanks for reading.

Even though I haven't been a paying customer of his, without RealMccloy's help, I'd absolutely be a one Xbox family.

Without going into all the painful details, he went WAY out of his way & helped me recover my Xbox from a modder who, basically, decided he'd rather keep my Xbox AND my money than send it back to me. Why did he help me out? Because it was the right thing to do... that's the kinda guy he is.

If I were a woman, I'd want to bear his children. OK, now it's getting REALLY gross! But seriously, if it had not been for him, I'd STILL be cryin' in my milk and system linking would not be happening in my home.

My youngest son now wants an Xbox. If I decide to get him one, I'll absolutely send it his way! I'll probably wait until the Special Edition Purple Halo 2 Xbox comes out. Rumor mill! Rumor mill! (translation for the Aussies: Rumour mill! Rumour mill!) Wink

Thanks for all the kind words!! It really makes what I do all the more worth while!

I don't make any money on the parts that I install in the machines, and only make $75.00 for quite a few hours worth of tedious work (slightly more if there is case modding too). Actually, by the time I burn a few DVDR's for backup, throw on freebee stuff like skins/wraps, jewel skins, or anything else that makes the machine look kick ass, I usually dont' make too much. When you think of the responsibility I take it really isn't a lot of money at all.

I am not doing this to get rich, sure it puts a few coins in my pocket, which I always spend on other xbox supplies so I can add neat little things to other peoples mods. It just boils down to I really enjoy doing it.

It makes me laugh hysterically when I get an email from someone with the notorious, "I LOVE YOU MAN" saying in the subject line. I remember how in awe I was when I first got my machine and figured out what to do with it. I was a little kid all over again!! I was actually quite intimidated with my first mod and almost got rid of it as I pretty much just kept screwing things up and wasn't getting anywhere.

But, once I got more aquainted with the machine I wanted to make sure that others didn't go through what I went through and truly believe that everyone who has an xbox should experience how cool it is when it's modded. That is also why I go out of my way to help people whenver I can. My 7 year old daughter got her first mod the other day and you would have thought I just gave her a million dollars! Now she wants a lit jewel like the one I did for jiggy...man, looks like the special edition disney/NickJr. xbox is just about to come to fruition!

Later all!
