Sorry, my bad. I was in such a rush that I didn't pay much attention. Plus using that stupid tutorial that also seemed to have been rushed through didn't help much. That's where I ran into the problem. But I got the files loaded onto my USB stick and I'll be loading it up and trying it again. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it and I can understand if someone gets frustrated because the other person isn't listening, it happens to me a lot too, but I haven't learned, hehe.
I'll post the results afterwards and hopefully this will be the end of the problems.

Okay, I've got both files on the memory card and loaded it onto the XBOX HD. I'm using the Splinter Cell exploit for this trial. I also have the correct Mech Assault version, but I'm trying Splinter Cell first.
I ran into a problem. When I select the "Check Points" button, the system just freezes on that screen and does nothing, even after waiting a couple of minutes.
Anyone had this problem or idea on what could be wrong?

do me a favor and check to see if your dash is up todate, while in m$ dash go to settings then system info, this part you have to wait until you see something like this
If it doesnt look like that then update it, if it is then the game saves are getting corrupted some where in between your computer and your xbox. _________________

If I remember correctly, when I checked before, it was the 5960. I'll double check though and get back to you.

Okay, just checked it and it's the 5960. I'm thinking maybe the files may be corrupt as I'm using a USB stick as an Action Replay unit and loading the saves through the computer onto the memory stick. I'll try to reformat the stick and load on and try the Mech Assault method.
I'll post my results in a little bit.

like one of your previous posts, you mentioned that the screen went all black and nothing.
did the xbox light go orange??
If so, that means, either corrupt files, or the game version of the disc is too new, don't use platinum hits, please use the older versions, in case your doing this. _________________ Xbox v1.1

Okay, I went straight into the Mech Assault method and it works! YAY! I'm currently trying copy off all the saves onto my 256MB memory stick. The only thing though is that when I Create MS Backup and Create Mod Backup it copies it somewhere, I don't know exactly where, but it doesn't go onto my memory card. At least I can't see it when I go into the Xbox memory managment screen.
Am I supposed to be able to see it or only on the computer?
I want to make sure I do backup everything before I install the softmod.

Okay, everything seems to work and the softmod is installed. It goes to the Evolution X screen and I can't seem to do much there.
I've burnt the AID 3.0 software onto a disc and tried to load it on the xbox. It seems to work and when I go to the dash, nothing happened, it's still the exact same menu.
