I was wondering if there is anyone here from the north-west part of ohio and would be willing to repair my two x-boxes. i will pay anyone that can help, but i do not trust sending my xboxes in the mail. Is there anyone from here that lives in this general area. If there is i will go into more detail on the problems. thanks

wow dude you never repiear your boxes? have you tried hotswaP? its fast and it works. if not then you just need to stick in a chip ( soilder or soilderless) _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Well that is it, i have tried to fix my xbox with a hotswap, i even believe that you were one of the people trying to help me. I hotswapped my xbox hd so much that i ruined two IDE cables, the connectors just ripped off. I only got it to run right once. and never again sadly, but it did not fix it. I went through everything in that program, but all unsuccessful, that is why i am looking for someone that could help me with my problems. For all i know it could of been my computer, which is pretty old. A couple weeks ago, i just gave up on it, but i figured i would try again. I already have a mod-chip, but the solderless adapter did not work, figures, but i am not expierenced with soldering, so i was just looking for some help. There is this computer store that works with xbox and ps2, do you think that they could fix it?

Well i am from the toledo area. Do not want to get too specific, but about 40 mi south of toledo. Okay Here is the problem, I have two xboxes, one i am going to try to fix with the installation of a mod-chip, but the other one i pretty much lost hope. it is a v.1.6 and i had it soft-modded and then i picked an option to reinstall it, but that just f-----d it all up, so it would turn on and would go to an error 13, i had no ms dash, but it would load retail games, with i believe you call it a cold boot, but anyway, i wanted to take it apart, mostly because i had no idea what could be wrong, and i had it unplugged, no there is an error code 16, and i can no longer play games, period. I have a post and i will put the web address at the bottom, but i have tried to get the xboxhdm thing to work with hotswapping, but i have no results, I would appreciate if anyone could help, Da-Goat and Yoshie i will think about mailling it to you, but do you guys think that you could fix the problem. thanks again.'

Do you think that this computer store that says that it repairs xboxes could fix my problem because i do not know anyone with a better computer. but i will be getting a better one soon. a couple months

well if they dont charge lo. really all thier is to it . make cd with retail dash files so it can load something , turn on the pc hit pause so noting boots power on xbox and quickly plug the xbox hd to pc ide cable hit break key, once you got the timing right make partitions say yes to F and thats it stick it on xbox . so try a friends pc or anywhre its easy fast and it should be free. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

if you hadnt tried to solder anything to the board yet, i know that i would beable to fix it. and it looks like you hadnt done anything internal, so all it would consist of is replacing the core files, then adding the exploited ones.
