yep.... well have you tryed installing sid 2 ? or any other sids... then once its moded u can pop aid 3 and update the mod.... last thing would be mod chip ... umm i also heard from our members that u can hotswap with sid 4 or some mod... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Well I heard that Sid 3 and lower were risky to use, but no, I couldnt find any of the older sid's anywhere I looked.

i downloaded the files i used from torrentreactor and another one i can't remember for sure now but i am downloading the one from your link now i'll get back to you as soon as i try it.hopefully with good news.

I just went ahead and borrowed $1.01 to add to my $3.99 and got a 14 day trial VIP, I downloaded SID 4.5 knave edition & SID 2.0, im gonna try 4.5.

hello again did that sid 4.5 solve your problem?cause it did nothing for me just the same old black screen.i'm starting to beleive i wasn't meant to mod this box.

Nah... Same exact thing, the only thing I can think of is that its the Action Replay Memory Card corrupting the saves... Are you using Action Replay to transfer the saves aswell?

Ok, I found a tutorial on how to configure the AR port to accept other cards, USBview is needed to find the Product ID and stuff, I just got Krayzie Ndure to work on my xbox im configuring right now...

Do you have another memory card other than the one that came with the action replay?

-unplug all the usb devices from your pc (except for the mouse an keyboard if is the case).
-run usbview and look for a mass storage device.
-look for the product Id and the vendor Id and write down the 4 digits after the 0x.
-now go to your AR install dir ("C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay XBOX" is the default dir) and open xbreader.inf with notepad.
-change the the Product Id and Vendor Id on the first line (see the image) save the document and close it.
At this point see example pic attached
-go to control panel\administrative tools\computer management.
-click on device manager at the left and look for the same mass storage device at the Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
-right click and choose update driver
-choose "update from a list or specific location(advanced)" and click next.
-then choose "dont search, i will choose the driver to install" and click next.
-click on the "Have Disk" button.
-Click on browse ond go for the xbrerader.inf that you just modified.
-Click "Open" then "OK".
-Then choose "MaxDrive Xbox" from the list and click next.
now you're done, open AR an it should recognize the momory unit
