Hi all!
I would like to know the following:
I have set up a bunch of emulators using the excellent installer from our brainiac department
MameoX find the roms, no problem and my roms are zipped and all. BUT any rom I try to run gives me the missing files shayt!!!
Now, the Q: Is it because the roms I am using are just for normal Mame use and not 'official' MamOX roms compiled for the xbox?!?!?!?

glad you liked our emulator autoinstaller mate..
Just wait for the next one.. Its gonna be huge.. Hopefully it will download updates automatically from the xbox-hq website without having to do anything.. Thats the plan anyway we hope..
onto your problem:
You will find that different versions of mame support different romsets.
I would speak to DJB or REALMCCLOY (both admins) as they have full romsets for a couple of different versions.. Im sure they will be nice enough to mail our FTP ADMIN a DVD or so..

mdt.. if you want new isos check the bit torrent section it has the latest 0-day games like juiced etc..

I have used my romset through three different versions of MameOX, including our latest.
I have a Two DVD set of over 6000 roms. I too get some that won't load, but a very small percentage.
Shoot me a PM with your mailing address and I'll get the disks out to you on DVD+R as I cannot burn DVD-R until I install my new burner. Actually, the master may indeed be on DVD-R I'll have to check.
I think what I ended up doing was copying them via Avalaunch and then just FTP'ing them to my PC to put on DVD+R.
Let me know what media you need it on.

Hm,
Can't say I've used MameOX for a while, I'll check the new version with the ROMS I have. BTW, these ROMS are the ones i got from Forahobby ages ago.
