im not usually one to bust up in somebodys thread and be like no it wont work. i can tell you this much. its probably going to be difficult if you dont have some kind of composite out on the dvd player. the screens they use in that kind of device are similar to laptop screens, so again, if there is no sort of composite or svideo out i personally cant really help. not a big fan of refering people to xbox-scene, but they have a very comprehensive lcd faq there in the xbox case and hardware section. its pinned so look near the top. sorry i couldnt be more help, but just post here if you have more questions. _________________ wetbox rusty pc

i doubt you will find any specific tutorials other than the hip pad screens.. You will mostly find general/generic procedures to try to get yours to work, and pretty much all of them require soldering to the underside of the xbox motherboard. good luck though, i myself have a few old laptop displays i would like to incorperate into a box.. _________________ XCM Halo 2 blue case

I have seen plenty of tuts on Adding a Laptop screen, but that is a pain..
But, the newer portable dvd players do have s video and composite out on them, so that would make it a little asier wouldnt it?? I have seen a bunch, even cheapy ones that have video and audio out for external moniters or Tv's.
but I just relaized.... duh... wouldnt the dvd player have to have a video INput, and not an OUtput?? crap, I just destroyed my own plans... Of well..
Next project, Putting an easy bake oven into my Xbox in pc case. it will fit, just need to isolate the heat so it doesnt kill the xbox..
Im serious... go to a LAN party, start baking brownies in your xbox.... that would be cool lol
Thanks for the help guys.
