I have 2 xbox one of which the dvd drive doesn't read the disc. Can my computer dvd drive work in there. Or can i fix the one in my xbox. pls send a tut as how do it thank you

no the xbox dvd drive is specialy designed for use with the xbox. standart dvd rom drives for pcs wont work on the xbox cause of bios conflict

You can try taking it apart and cleaning the lense or buy a new xbox dvd drive...later.

what do i use to clean the lens. Cotton and alchoal or just the cotton. Thank u for your answers...

I've used a standard DVD reader and DVD2XBOX to copy backup games to the HD.

The standard DVD reader would not play orignals or backups.

hey, thx for the replies. The xbox with the dvd problem, i'ved opened and i wiped off the lens and the mirror with the liquid from a standard dvd cleaner set. I have a tin of compressed air, where should I clean with it?

i do not recommend using canned air at all. the lens cleaner should do the job

air wont hurt it unless you have it so close to freeze the components, ive used canned air and had no problems. When the instructions say dont tilt the can, they mean it your just blowing away the dust.
