Hi there

Really weird problem that I really want to fix.

Last weekend, XBMC just stopped playing movies (DivX, XVid, MP4). Sometimes, I can hear stuttering audio, but no video at all. Then I am returned to the File Select menu.

I have tried clearing the XBMC save files (no luck), installing new copy of XBMC overtop (no luck), and even deleting all XBMC files, and reinstalling from scratch (still no luck).

Any ideas of other things to try?

hmm weird, you try reinstalling the softmod or clearing the caches.

Reinstalling the softmod is no problem, but you can only clear the cache with FTP, right?

you can use boxsplorer or the file browser and clear your caches on your xbox, just a reminder dont delete the cache files themselves just whats in them.

Hi again

So I reinstalled the SoftMod (4.5 which worked fine before), I cleared the cache and still no luck.

And I know it's not the movie files, because even the ones that used to play don't do it. You just get some stuttered audio, then back to the menu.

Any other help would be appreciated.
