Hey guys
Just wondering if anyone has any idea why a few of my programs freeze up when i launch them on my Xbox. The problem occurs when i launch Complex Tools which comes on but won't let me scroll through the menu or select anything with my xbox controller. Similarily the xsnes9x emulator freezes as soon as i go into the main menu oh, and it won't recognise my roms despite them being in the directory it is looking for.
Once the programs freeze, the only thing i am able to do is switch off my xbox and reboot it.
Any ideas?

On xsnes9x, when you want to play a rom you will have to choose to load the rom but not from favorites. Then when the directory screen comes up you should choose your rom directories...if that is where your roms are... I have had a lot of customers ask me where they are located before. _________________ http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-211.html

well the directory that all my roms are is: E:\Emulators\xSnes9x\Roms\allroms
when the directory screen comes up it shows the right directory. when i go into it however it doesn't hold any roms. Do you think that there might be something wrong with the roms themselves?

Roms are universal. You can even use the roms on a computer emulator as long as they are for that system. Make sure that the roms are in fact SNES roms. If they are, then try and put them in just the roms folder. For example, instead of E:\Emulators\xSnes9x\Roms\allroms put them in E:\Emulators\xSnes9x\Roms\. I doubt that all of the roms that you have would be corrupt. _________________ http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-211.html

Im sorry, I was having a brain fart... If you use a file manager (prefrebly from unleashx dash) then you can go into the the xsnes9x folder and find a file named "Config.ini". Open it up and edit it. Just change the directory letters from F:/ to E:/. The ini file designates where to look for your roms... Sorry about my confusion the last couple of posts... _________________ http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-211.html

i just checked the ini file and it does point to the right directory for the roms and the emulator still doesn't read any roms in the directory
