Ok guys a noob question here. I've taken out my 160gb Seagate hdd from my Xbox (which I sold) and have put it in my External hdd case and it only shows 7mb! WTF?

I know its to do with the Xbox formating but can't seem to fix it.

Help me please.

Well I got a 160gb HDD and I'm trying to reformat it. I did this using Norton PartitionMagic 8.0 and it only shows up as 7mb (thats the max partition size)

try putting the harddrive as a slave in your computer and format it with Xp if you have it.

ok your going to have to get a dos based harddrive erasing program that goes on diskette or cd and wipe the drive. The programs are not hard to find.
