Ok I was messing around with x-dsl and I know I saw something about using internet with dial-up. There are a few of my friends who I modded their xboxes and they want internet but have dial up? How do I get back to it and how do I set it up? Any ideas? _________________ Moddingbandit

buy a usb dailup modem make, make an adapter, out of a controller dongel then install the drivers for linux
or even better install windows 98 on the hd, and install the driverfor the usb modem,
orinstall an windows emu that can handel the drives,
no way to use a serial or pci modem so usb is ya only hope i have a usb modem running on my brothers xbox running under linux, but i orig hade is on a linux pc, so the drives may be hard to find, make sure it is compate with linux

there is no tut. on this subject. do you have any linux experience,
if not then y want to install win98 on the xbox using Qemu, and then u will need to use a usb external modem for dailup, the should be a thread on installing windows 98 on the xbox somewhee on this site. using linux or windows 98 is the only way
