Hello I've got a problem with the X-DSL dashboard on C. I've installed this dashboard and I used AID version 3. My problem is how can I get rid of this dashboard on C so I can put my former Unleash dashboard back on my C drive. X-DSL dashboard doesn't load my games and AID 3 DVD anymore, I've tried to FTP with my computer without any result.
My next questen is, if you install this linux dashboard on your C thus it effect other partions on the XBOX. Because I've saved all my movies on my F of 140 GB, so it would be very pitty if this partition is erased.
My xbox(1.4) is TSOP flashed and my BIOS is Flash protected.

well since you have AID thenthis will be easy as long as you can still load AID. Ok just boot up AID and go to applications. Install xselect on your E drive or wherever you have you apps. once done, reboot your xbox without a disk in there. Something should pop up saying press non thumbstick button to configure or sumthin. Press up on the d-pad and search for dashes. Once it has searched your whole box(which it will do) press ok and go down to quick dash and make unleashx your default dash. You said you had it still right? If not just install it as app. then once it is made default dash, make X-DSL one of you other dashes. Then you should be good to go.

AID doesn't boot from XBOX DVD ROM, so I can't load AID anymore and so I'me unabelled to put my former unleash dashboard back

I've Solved The Problem, it was my Thomson Drive.
I've tried to put AID in the drive many times (25) and suddenly AID did load up.
What a very minor problem can do with you

I have a Thomson DVD-ROM drive too. I've all ways used Memorex DVD+R's and not had any problems with it reading them. If I'm not real sure what I'm trying to burn is going to work, I burn it to my Sony DVD+RW first...

Never had I problems with Princo 4x and Princo 8x (always burn them 4x).
After I had installed X-DSL as a C dashboard (AID 3) the problems occured. It even didn't load the origanel xbox games. Now I've installed X-DSL as an application on E.
