Hi all
Ive been trying to install SID4 on my stock Xbox v1 for a while now but it keeps on throwing up Error 21 when i run the game save exploit. I was originally using the Splinter Cell method which gave this result so i thought i'd try the Mech Assault Method to see if it gave the same error, which it did... and now im stump't.
Ive made my own USB cable and i use Action Replay to get the game saves onto the xbox which i then copy to the hard disk and run via the game, basically following all the instructions for SID4.
The Dash version is 1.00.5960.01 which is rip for SID4 i think, the Hard disk sounds a bit clunky and occasionally chucks up an Error 07 but i dont think that has much to do with it and anyways i wana swap the Hard disk for a bigger 1. So all i really need is the eeprom backup right ?? is there any other way of getting this ??
Please has anyone had similar experiences or knows a solution ?? i need your input dudes as ive exhausted the net trying to find a way

hello mrblonde, am I to say that you have both of the files needed? You have the splinter cell and the linux installer? If you just have the linux save, then of course it wont work. You need the linux installer inself to do it as well as the gamesave.
