Try use'n XBMC. I read avi's from my PC's hard drive with it, no need to move them to the xbox.

hehe...my kids call it Xbox Media Centaur.

Before your xbox will play movies you need to have XBOX MEDIA CENTER installed?? Do you already have that installed??

If you dont look into Auto Installer Deluxe (http://www.aideluxe.com). AID will install 60+ Dashboards, Apps and other homebrew software all from the one dvd-r you burn on your pc and boot on the xbox.

Your xbox must already be modded with a modchip or softmod before you can use AID.

hope that helps

enjoy HQ

ahhh the powers of AID. It was like a dream come true when we met. lol .

That was weird but yea he might want to actually install XBMC first. this might help a little. If you are useing AID, then just install xbmc as an app. and then you can just select it from the applications folder and load it like an app. simple huh?
