I just recently bought a used xbox version 1.0
I think it previously had a softmod installed, but not sure what,,,it had been uninstalled when i recieved it, but i think it still had some files left over. i recently installed the SID 4.5 softmod and everything works great, but now i want to return the box to completely stock status. i want it to look completely stock from the hard-drive. how do i go about doing this, i am still kind of new, and have read different ways, but then there were negative comments in each post.
Please tell me kow to return the HD to stock from MS....

Well, you will ahve to ahve the softmod on, then set up an FTP connection to the Xbox with either Flash FXP or C-Xbox tool, Then go in and delete all of the apps and emulators and programs in the E drive. Then just uninstall the softmod using AID or SID. _________________

should i only have the C, D, & E drives?
cause when i FTP to the box, i have like 6 drives...cant remember, im at work right now.
the last oner are x,z i think...
what are they for?

the X, Y, and Z partitions are for cache, I think you can leave those alone. _________________
