I do this steps to fix my problem with many games
its a copy text of nkave with a little modification from my part
The issues about SID 4 on PAL or NTSC xboxes has been disccused alot, but here's your fix.
*If SID 4 is already installed Skin the install part*
1.- Boot SID 4 from game to gamesave hack.
3.- Simply use the built-in file explorer/Manager to navigate to C:\, and delete the file called C:\eeprom.bin, and it will not have virtual eeprom that causes the issue on video mode.
How ever your xbox is now vunerable to be unlock by apps, so make sure you know what your doing.
also wait for SID 4.5 if your not sure about doing this.

me and many others are having problems running forza and counter strike etc, it usually just goes to a black screen.
If i delete the file you say to delete, will i still be able to boot to retail and use xbox live? _________________

I do not believe so....since I believe your eeprom is what is banned on xbl as well as your hdd key...so if they cant even find an eeprom I do not think you would be able to get on xbl....I could be wrong though but I wouldn't want to chance it...later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

yoshi1 what ken34 is trying to say if he deletes this file can he go to xbox live like if noting would of happend???
ken34 xbl will not be alterd in any way .. this is simply just delteing the scripts that get confused with a game and cause black screen.....
so xbl wont get damage....
u are just removing the patches and virtual mounts
but i would do a softmod insted of deleting the file..
